Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Vara is a service built for UK-based wedding and event planners. We provide a dedicated UK mobile number that, when a call is missed, automatically texts the caller back, asks qualifying questions (such as event date, guest count, and budget), and forwards the resulting lead details to the planner by SMS. Vara is currently in a pre-launch, private-beta stage — features, pricing, and availability described on our site are subject to change before general release.

2. The waitlist

Submitting your email address to our waitlist does not create a paid subscription or guarantee access to Vara. It simply registers your interest so we can contact you when onboarding opens. You may ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 9.

3. Eligibility and acceptable use

Vara is intended for use by professional wedding and event planning businesses operating in the United Kingdom. You agree to use Vara only for lawful business purposes, to provide accurate information when signing up, and not to use the service to send unsolicited, abusive, or misleading messages to any third party.

4. Use of the AI assistant

Vara's AI assistant sends automated text messages on your behalf when you miss a call. While we aim for the assistant's responses to be accurate, helpful, and on-brand, automated messages may occasionally be imperfect. You remain responsible for following up with leads and for the accuracy of any information you provide to configure the assistant (such as your business name and services).

5. Fees and billing

Once Vara exits private beta, use of the service will require a paid subscription at the price displayed on our pricing page at the time you sign up. We will always communicate pricing clearly before you are charged, and any pricing shown during the waitlist period is indicative and may change prior to general availability.

6. Intellectual property

The Vara name, logo, website, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our branding except as necessary to use the service as intended.

7. Disclaimers

Vara is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during the private-beta period. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in any particular business outcome, such as securing a booking. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable UK law.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as Vara moves from private beta to general availability. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email.
